The Summer Session lasts from June-August. Monday-Friday, date-specific instruction is focused on interesting and obscure daily holidays and observances that are ongoing through the summer. Videos are engaging and fun with weekly activities from cooking to art, from academics to social skills. These lessons have something for every kind of curious learner.

It is recommended that every Summer Session learner has a buddy they can bounce ideas off of. It can be a parent, sibling, cousin, friend, neighbor, or grandparent. The goal is to have someone that can support our learners. Every week of instruction will have a Learning Partner Newsletter outlining weekly activities, providing supply lists, and discussing reinforcement activities that can be practiced beyond a classroom setting. Newsletters will come out before the new week starts so students and Learning Partners can have supplies ready to go for class.

In addition to daily video instruction, learners will have access to Student Slides featuring extension activities, academic reinforcement, visual recipes, and more. These slides, available via Google Slides, serve as an excellent starting point for Learning Partners and Learners to embark on their learning journey together.
